"The Idea Vault" is an immersive installation designed to raise awareness about the Verizon Innovative Learning platform

"The Idea Vault" is an immersive installation designed by DogStudio to raise awareness about the Verizon Innovative Learning platform. It was presented in New York as part of the Times Talk in October 2019.

The multichannel interactive sound design was developed as a score to the installation narrative and as a support to the visualisation of data. The music composition was made using data (a process called sonification) reflecting the work of Verizon’s in the field of education. As visitors explore the installation, piano notes and sound recordings from schools around the US become a 360 degrees expression of the efforts deployed to support learning throughout the country.
