I THINK THAT'S WHEN SINGING WAS BORN. THE RAIN FALLING, THE WATERFALLS, THE RIVERS AND THE WAVES OF THE SEA, THE RUMBLING OF THE EARTH. THEN THE WIND JOINED IN, EVERY REED, EVERY STEM, EVERY BRANCH BECAME FLUTES, ORGANS, OBOES, HORNS. THE EARTH BECAME SINGING, THE WORLD A CHOIR, ITS BEINGS MELODIC.
